Position Description Job SummaryResponsible for the execution of the production schedule as well as performing mold and/or material changes as directed by the schedule. Troubleshoot molding process, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality. Verifying paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at startup of jobs and in process inspections; monitoring and preparing support equipment as needed in the production area. Responsible for any other duties as assigned by the production manager.Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED is required. Five or more years experience in an injection molding manufactering enviornment is preferred. Computer literate Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint. Vocational, technical or college training in injection molding. Ability to communicate and understanding of mechanical principals (vacuum, pressure, force, temperature, fluid flow, heat transfer, etc.) Capable of performing dimensional inspection utilizing micrometers calipers and dial indicators, pin gages, ring gages, optical comparator, microscope including toolmakers microscope, surface plates, and comparison and high amplification measurement instruments. Additional Description Execute production schedule, perform mold and/or material changes per schedule to ensure timely completion of production requirements consistent with product quality and product standards.
