Job description

PCS Residential is looking for an HR Coordinator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have two years of HR experience and a working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.

Salary: $45,000 -$55,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative HR support to employees and assisting the HR Manager with day-to-day functions. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring human resource functions are complying with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
  • Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, performing reference checks, issuing employment offers, and assisting with new-employee background checks.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Assist with performance management procedures.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.
  • Support other assigned functions.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Two years related experience required.
  • HR credential preferred.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, and Adobe

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
