Job description
The Service Delivery Excellence(SDX) team is dedicated to the quality and success of our Thomson Reuters customers and Legal Professional Services team. We establish the best practice approach to working with customers around the globe for all products supported by the Thomson Reuters Legal Professional Services team. We work closely alongside our professional services delivery teams with our Project Managers, Application Consultants, Technical Consultants and Technical Leads in all disciplines to define and continuously refine the best practice approach to delivering quality services for our customers. The ability of our team to step in and audit ongoing projects will ensure the project health remains stable and proactively escalate issues instead of being reactive to problems.
The Service Delivery Excellence team works closely with Product Management and Education Services to support the product launch process in ensuring new feature functionality is applied to best practices and delivery of our service delivery teams. The team works alongside the Operations team to ensure streamlined processes and reportability of our project status.
The Project Management role on this team is responsible for identifying and documenting Best Practices for defining and delivering implementation of our Thomson Reuters products. They use their professional services expertise in delivering Legal Practice Management projects to establish best practices in implementation methodologies, establishing a governance framework and working with our Operations team to ensure appropriate data is tracked to provide management reporting per project and across segments.
Essential day-to-day responsibilities:
- Apply project management standards and methodology to the LPS Implementation.
- Work with the Practice Delivery Teams including partners in the field to gather and maintain lessons learned.
- Work with the Educations Services team to ensure training is available that covers implementation methodology approaches, change management and best practices.
- Work with the Operations team to provide content updates in support of PM tools and software.
- Support Rapid Response team to provide expert advice to PMs in the field.
- Work with Practice Leads and Education Services to support new hire onboarding.
- Work with other SDX team members to Conduct 360 Assessments of projects to monitor and enforce system, tool and process usage with an effort to pivot projects needing support quickly.
- Work with Product Management to document implementation steps required to deliver products to our customers with an eye towards customer satisfaction by decreasing implementation time and increasing feature functionality.
- Participate in produce launch cycle to update workplans, Project Management collaterals to stay in line with product releases.
- Work as part of a remote team and contribute to the learning and development of team members and participate in team and internal initiatives and projects
- Continually seek and capitalize on opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
Additional information:
- Periodic weekend work required
Qualifications/Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5-8 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: legal industry, consulting, or software training
- PMP certification, PMO experience
Required skills/necessary experience:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Client-facing consultancy experience
- Ability to work independently and with minimal management supervision, which requires excellent organizational skills, time management skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to accept ownership and responsibility for assigned projects
- Legal industry experience, and/or consulting experience in similar industry are preferred
- Prior experience in working in a PMO.
