Honeywell's ACST team is seeking a talented Sr. Facility Project Specialist in our Golden Valley, MN location to manage facilities business projects that drive revenue, increase productivity, and improve processes. You'll use your agility and ability to support clients to roll out programs, achieve metrics and track milestones.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate and track progress on a portfolio of facilities projects, such as equipment installations and space rearrangement.
  • Track facilities utilization, utilities, and conditions in support of laboratory and office operations.
  • Manage a large portfolio of projects (>$10M) through the planning, design, construction, and occupancy phase.
  • Transition the project specifications into operating space including coordinating new operation and maintenance requirements.
  • Provide updates on project status and other activities to management.
  • Coordinate and understand needs of IT, HSE, Fire Systems, Security, Operations, Automation Systems, and business groups in the context of facilities management.
  • Support projects and initiatives across 4 ACST locations.
  • Responsible for writing/reviewing Statements of Work (SoW) for facility projects.
  • Provides backup - on call support to Facilities Tech(s) (24/7).
  • Minor HSE support where needed.
  • Travel estimated at 20%

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project management. (Facilities background desirable.)
  • Due to export control laws, must have U.S. Citizenship.
  • One year minimum of exposure to facilities projects with understanding of HVAC, Chillers, Electrical, and Health Safety & Environmental (HSE).
  • 2 years experience with AutoCAD
  • 2 years of current experience with MS Project

WE VALUE:

  • Master's degree.
  • Project Management Certifications.
  • Understanding and/or experience with cryogenics.
  • Understanding and/or experience with laser safety, including Class IIIB and IV.
  • In depth experience in manufacturing and facilities management.
  • Ability to collaborate across functional leadership teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Understanding of Liquefaction capabilities.
