As a Channel Advancement and Program Operations Lead on the national Government Programs CAHPS & HOS Operations & Programs team, this individual will be accountable for embedding strategies within existing clinical programs and services models to improve CAHPS & HOS results. You will work closely with Strategy Leads and fellow Channel partners to understand priorities and actionable strategies to lead channel advancement. Working with business leaders across the company this individual will educate and evangelize the importance of CAHPS & HOS and how the channel directly impacts results, continuously innovating to expand upon existing programs enabling better products & operations experiences, and in turn a better provider experiences and overall better health outcomes for our members. The position requires someone with strong analytical capabilities, project/program management discipline, experience collaborating across teams, and a passion for delivering delightful customer experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead implementation projects/programs across a variety of teams to achieve business outcomes within scoped timelines and budget
- Work with channel partners to update and design CAHPS & HOS strategies into existing tools, programs, and services models
- Provide guidance, expertise, and assistance to internal and external partners, to ensure programs and strategies are implemented and maintained effectively
- Develop education collateral and tools tailored to existing channels and service model
- Create related metrics and reporting operational scorecards to assess overall effectiveness and performance of clinical channel aligned to CAHPS and HOS measures
- Ensure business processes are reviewed, maintained, and established where gaps exist to promote operational effectiveness and delightful customer experiences
- Implement, monitor, and measure channel improvement to achieve 4+ Star performance
- Work within a matrix organization by building and sustaining relationships with internal and external business partners to lead programs, define timelines, resolve issues, and guide ongoing improvements
- Monitor, track and follow through on requests submitted by internal customers and business partners
- Support teams in presentation of data and recommendations to management to promote improvements in customer experiences
- Monitor, analyze and report analytical findings and provide business recommendations
- Demonstrate adaptability in a highly changing environment, quickly shifting focus as priorities change
Required Qualifications:
- BA / BS or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of work experience in Project management
- 3+ years of work experience with Client service completing requirements gathering, design and implementation
- 3+ years of Customer experience
- 3+ years of work experience in Clinical / care management improvement
- 3+ years of work experience in business and operation strategy
- Solid operations and program management experience; implementing and monitoring new campaigns and channel partnerships
- Solid Microsoft Office Skills with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Medicare and CAHPS & HOS surveys
- Clinical strategy and design experience
- Knowledge of Medicare healthcare administrative data (medical claims, enrollment, provider data)
- Solid communicator - comfortable presenting program objectives, process, and performance in multiple setting
- Demonstrates an innate ability to absorb new concepts, technical frameworks, program paradigms while employing them creatively to solve complex analytical problems
- Solid relationship building skills with internal and practice teams to drive goal alignment
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Solid consumer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Able to exercise judgment and take action on it

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $87,900 to $156,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
