Transformation and Data Management The Transformation and Data Management function, which sits within Commercial Banking, is responsible for driving key large-scale Transformation efforts to digitize core processes front-to-back to achieve operational efficiency, effectiveness, and risk reduction. We partner with both Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking Lines of Business, Operations, and Control to drive transformation with a focus on risk and control, data quality, and consistency in customer experience.
One of our key efforts, the Originations and Portfolio Management Transformation, is focused on implementing a new Loan Origination and Portfolio Management platform that will become the core strategic platform leveraged by Commercial Banking (CB) and Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) LOBs. Implementing this platform is a key aspect to our overall lending transformation efforts that are helping create optimized CB and CIB lending organizations, with simplified and standardized processes, usable/accurate data, and best-in-class technology. These efforts will enable business efficiency, active portfolio management, better risk management, and a platform for future growth.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end collateral and due diligence design for the new Loan Originations and Portfolio Management tool. You will partner with the broader product team, technology teams and business leaders to guide planning and development for the products. You will engage and motivate teams to deliver consistent, integrated, and extensible solutions aligned to business needs and outcomes through clear product strategies and roadmaps.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop a product vision, definition, and goals for teams to design, build, and optimize technology and processes for their respective product areas.
- Work with product owners, leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to ensure business value and adoption are achieved through backlog prioritization against value realization.
- Define and develop key metrics infrastructure to support product area performance and continuous improvement discipline.
- In concert with the broader product line teams, develop integrated product roadmaps ensuring cross functional dependencies are articulated and managed.

There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner
Other Desired Qualifications
- Extensive commercial and/or large corporate lending experience across a broad spectrum of lending products, collateral types, and business segments
- 10+ years' experience in commercial collateral management and due diligence processes including deep understanding of:
- various commercial collateral structures such as Borrowing Base, Commercial Real Estate Dependent Loans, Subscription Lending, etc
- how collateral integrates with the overall credit life cycle
- due diligence and regulatory requirements such as insurance requirements apply for various collateral types
- In depth knowledge of Salesforce and nCino platforms and other market standard collateral tools such as Wolters Kluwer
- Demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution at scale in a cross line of business or enterprise environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and effectively partner/influence with key business stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives
- Ability to influence and build relationships with multiple stakeholder groups including line of business, operations, technology, and external service providers
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
- Experience working with development teams in a scrum and agile environment
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
