You'll maximize our deep relationships with our customers and the industry by monetizing our assets. You'll leverage these assetsour nationwide network and the actionable intelligence it deliversto create real value for customers. You'll work to help put the right playersfrom payers to physicians to pharmaciesonto a common network so that they can more effectively communicate and coordinate high-quality and well-informed healthcare. Job Summary. The Director, Product Management executes a comprehensive product strategy for a portfolio of products to manage specialty medications for pharmacies, EHRs, patient assistance programs (hubs), and life sciences companies from product conception and definition through end of life. The incumbent functions as a central resource with design, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing and distribution as the product moves through its lifecycle. The Director, Product Management directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products. The Director, Product Management promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. The incumbent develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. The Director, Product Management will collaborate closely with the Director, Product Commercialization to prioritize solution roadmaps to meet the needs of the market and the users. Responsibilities: Deliver a portfolio of products, including the product roadmaps and cross-product alignment. Manage all operational aspects of the p ortfolio including continuous improvement to ensure accuracy, resolve errors, implement product fixes, and drive enhancements. Driv e the development of product definition and solution plans to optimize a product line or specific product area. Apply broad knowledge of product capabilities and competitive environment to identify new growth areas, new technology and emerging product opportunities. Collaborate with the Product Commercialization team on the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share. Lead the launch of new products by providing SME support and facilitating go-to-market training for marketing and the customer group. Serve as the central point of expertise providing effective sales, integration and activation support internally and externally to Surescripts. Collaborate with other internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the attainment of corporate and product portfolio goals. Ensure on-time delivery of both new products and the required enhancements of existing products in the specific product line. Collaborate with the Director, User-Centered Innovation to develop a user-centric approach to ideation, testing, and value measurement for the solutions. Lead a team of managers and individual contributors to ensure successful implementation of the product Portfolio. Work with third party standards organizations to define and evolve standards. Develop and manage relationships with third party information providers. Qualifications. Basic Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years of experience in related, progressive roles. 7 + years of experience in product strategy, product definition, product management and product launch. 3 + years of experience directly managing or supporting the management of P&L/profit contribution for a product line. 3 + years of experience in healthcare or a field related to the business data networks, transaction processing systems or information products. 3 + years of people management experience or experience in roles showing progressive leadership. 3+ years of experience with specialty medications, ideally in a specialty pharmacy, specialty pharmacy solution vendor, or a hub. Preferred Qualifications: Technical product development background. We are currently working from home. Offices are open to those who want to go in with health safety protocols in place. This position will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, where you will be able to split time between work from home and onsite work at our newly designed office. Physical and Mental Requirements.
