We are currently seeking a Talent Manager to join our growing team. This will be a full-time, permanent hire on our team in Minnetonka, Minnesota that will allow you to work in a hybrid work environment both in the office and from home. Robert Half's finance and accounting contract talent practice group partners with companies to provide contract and contract-to-hire resources within the operational and transactional areas of that client's accounting and finance department. We staff resources for both interim and project opportunities, such as company reorganization, merger and acquisition activity and system conversions. Our Talent Managers work in a team environment and have a wide range of responsibilities, including business development to corporate clients, recruitment of highly qualified talent and the ultimate placement of our talent with the clients we serve. Your specific duties will include:
- Negotiate and develop business with both new and existing clients.
- Market our services via telephone and through virtual and in-person business meetings with hiring managers and decision makers in accounting and finance departments.
- Build relationships with hiring managers to gain key insights into upcoming hiring needs, projects and departmental changes.
- Source and recruit highly qualified accounting and finance talent.
- Conduct candidate interviews through in-person and electronic means, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom or FaceTime.
- Qualify talent for existing opportunities based on client requirements.
- Complete reference checks on available talent.
- Provide ongoing communication and career guidance to candidates.
- Manage current assignments by clearly communicating with both the client and consultant before, during and after the engagement.
- Participate in local trade association and networking events to increase Robert Half's presence in the local business community.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administrative highly desired
2+ years of prior accounting, finance, banking or business related customer service preferred
Demonstrated relationship building experience required
Prior accounting experience strongly preferred
Previous sales experience highly desired
Exemplary problem solving skills required
Ability to work independently and also as part of a team
