The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo's risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

An Operations Clerk position is the first step in a rewarding career in financial services. You'll learn about payment processing, and the financial services industry. Lockbox is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment working behind the scenes with little, if any, customer contact.
In this role you'll be performing general clerical operations tasks that are routine and/or repetitive in nature.

Duties may include:

  • Receiving, logging, batching and/or distributing work
  • Filing, photocopying, scanning, preparing and distributing incoming and/or outgoing mail or boxes
  • Verifying or matching data on documents and/or items
  • Scanning documents on imaging equipment, performing simple data entry tasks
  • Compiling simple data
  • Performing routine math calculations
  • Works under close supervision following established procedures
  • There are also strict deadlines requiring flexibility of schedule, as this is an open-ended position with the start and end time being determined by work flow.

The successful Operations Clerks demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to follow procedures, and basic computer knowledge. They have the desire and motivation to constantly improve their ability to perform each function quickly and accurately. Job duties may demand standing or sitting for long periods of time. The working environment is fun with a casual dress code in a highly secure facility.

WORK SCHEDULE: 3rd Shift Sunday through Thursday 10:30pm to 7:00am or until the work is complete

  • Schedule subject to change based on business need.
  • Schedule flexibility required. Must be able to work bank holidays as needed by the business.
  • May be eligible for 15% shift differential based on policy.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience meeting deadlines in a business or office environment demonstrated through work or military experience

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Good communication skills
