The company is extending its commercial organization, creating a vacancy for Technical Services Veterinarian for our cattle business. Vaxxinova US is the inventor of the breakthrough SRP® technology, providing innovative vaccines for the poultry and livestock industry, offering both autogenous and fully licensed USDA vaccines.

About the role
The Technical Services Veterinarian will be a field-based position, reporting to the Director of Sales & Technical Services (also field based). This role is responsible for the U.S. Technical Support for cattle vaccines and diagnostics. The role will represent Vaxxinova US during scientific & industry events (presenting when possible), supporting the sales team & customers where needed, be the technical spokesperson for key accounts, and the leading technical follow up of diagnostic services. The role will be the technical support/voice for marketing projects and be the leading technical voice between the R & D and the marketplace.
This position requires about 50% travel.
Main responsibilities: Technical Services Veterinarian
- Be our lead during technical meetings with key accounts, able to discuss vaccination programs and provide solid diagnostic services.
- Represent Vaxxinova US during scientific events including technical presentations for experts and key opinion leaders.
- Support the current U.S. diagnostic service and actively support further expansion and penetration.
- Create demand for our vaccines by offering high-level technical support in cooperation with the territory managers in the field.
- Provide technical content to produce marketing material such as brochures, technical bulletins, posters.
- Formulate proposals to the development of new diagnostics or vaccines matching the future requirements of the poultry industry.
- Ensure an effective communication and close contact with R&D and Sales & Marketing to ensure alignment concerning the technical needs and priorities of the market.
Qualifications
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent, a post-graduate degree is an advantage.
- Recognized leader in cattle diagnostics and vaccination (preferred more than 5 years' experience).
- Customer Focused is a must; ability to communicate (at different levels) to complex customer operations is an advantage.
- A deep understanding of the cattle industry, the key players and technical needs.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver high-level technical presentations during industry & scientific events.
- Ability to discuss complicated technical cases in an easy and understandable way.
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken) is necessary, knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Representing our entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality. Must be a Team player
- Fully functional in Microsoft Office software
