Provides support to Merit Health Biloxi Laboratory facility with focus on regulatory, financial, information systems and operations, as coordinated with the Director of Laboratory Services. Supports the goals and objectives of the laboratory. Process improvements do include overall knowledge, understanding and insight with The Joint Commission and other regulatory processes. Understand and process, performance and the ability to assist in problem resolution. Assist with laboratory procedure development. Ability to oversee daily operations of a full service laboratory. Perform financial analysis to assist with margin improvement and purchasing. Bachelors degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science and at least 5-7 years of previous experience.

Understand and process performance and the ability to assist in problem resolution. Assist with laboratory procedure development. Constructive performance at the facility level as it relates to operations. Ability to oversee daily operations of a full service laboratory. Preference will be given to the candidate with proven leadership abilities and well-developed management skills Perform financial analysis to assist with margin improvement and purchasing. Bachelors degree in chemical, biological, or laboratory science required and at least 5 years of previous hospital laboratory experience required. Must meet CLIA qualifications as Technical Supervisor or Technical Consultant.
