Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Contract Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Iuka, MS. The Contract Administrator will be supporting the Aerospace Structures Business Unit.
This position requires a frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. The ideal candidate will be a team player and possess the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. The Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, effectively deal with external customers, and meet the goals/objectives of the Aerospace Structures Business Unit. Administers, extends, negotiates and terminates standard and nonstandard contracts.
Conducts proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Examines estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepares bids; processes specifications, progress, and other reports; advises management of contractual rights and obligations; compiles and analyzes data; and maintains historical information.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree in business, finance, or related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of contract administration or supply chain experience
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAR/DFARS Experience
- ITAR/Export Licensing Experience - Contract or Supply Chain Experience
- Financial Accounting Experience
- Financial Forecasting Experience
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Experience working within an IPT structure
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint
Salary Range: 55224 - 82836
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
