Job description

We are looking for an energetic individual to join this team as a Shipping Clerk. This company is a fast paced medical service provider for the top Orthopedic companies in the industry. The business focus is sterile and non-sterile packaging of medical devices. Mechanical inspection and assembly are designed to meet the outsourcing requirements of medical device manufacturers seeking to reduce costs while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. This company is FDA and ISO registered and employs a detailed internal quality system to ensure ISO compliance.

Responsibilities:
A Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.

Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Skills:
Attention to detail
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
Software & Computer proficiency
Basic knowledge - Familiar with hardware, keyboarding
Follow procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and written instructions in English
Communication skills - oral and written in English
Customer-service oriented with the ability to function in a high volume distribution operation

Education:
High School

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Experience with a warehouse management system or Enterprise resource planning software is preferred
Ability to stand, stoop, twist, bend, lift 50 lbs. or more
Ability to read fine print on paper and computer screen
