YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Corn Product Development Scientist II/Corn Hybrid Breeder, are to:
- Design, develop, implement and execute technical strategy required for product development (from first year of yield trail testing to commercialization) aligned with product concepts and portfolio needs to deliver genetic gain in the short and long term for breeding pipelines;
- Interact with partners in Field testing and operations, Analytics and Pipeline Design, Product Design, Market Development and Regional Marketing to assure implementation of technical strategy for developing new commercial products;
- Support global pipelines for product development in specified maturity zones;
- Support new product launches with our national and regional brands as well as Market Development;
- Support projects on implementation of Precision Breeding technical innovations in product development in Region;
- Support regional home team and partners within region to support innovation projects for Precision Breeding, with a key focus on driving genetic gain and product performance through digital transformation and new technology development and deployment;
- Support the Health Safety and Environment, Compliance, Business Conduct and Human Rights policies and culture in the site.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Science with at least seven years of relevant experience OR Master of Science with at least five years of relevant experience OR Ph.D. with at least three years of relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve common goals;
- Demonstrated experience leading and influencing activities of cross functional teams without direct reporting relationships;
- Ability to lead and influence key stakeholders through challenges and opportunities; facilitates solutions;
- Results orientation with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree OR Ph.D. in Agricultural Science, Pathology, Genetics, Crop Science, or Product Management;
- Familiarity with and a demonstrated ability to perform data analysis with large datasets;
- Experience with automated phenotyping/remote sensing and the interpretation of imaging data.
