Summary of Duties:
- Directly assist management in business activities with on-going projects for the development and execution of technical and business support opportunities for the Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) regarding Digital Transformation, Next Generation ERP
- Develops, plans and leads the execution of projects in the areas of customer, vendor & 3rd party consultant relationships, transformation and integration, growth strategies aligned with the customer, and a wide variety of complex technical, financial, or Next Generation ERP project management activities that will impact multiple organizations, operations, and functions
- Develop and implement strategies for the NSE that position Honeywell Federal Manufacturing and Technologies to be more responsive and flexible, focusing on a longer-term (5 - 10 year) horizon
- Lead the technical or operational efforts of management, including evaluation of technical or operational objectives and programs to determine compatibility with inter- and intra-divisional directives including the Ten-Year Site Plan and Technology Plan
- Develop and lead the infusion of commercial-best business practices across the entire NSE through ERP Digital Transformation in manufacturing, operations and support
- Lead the technical or operational efforts of management for evaluation of technical or operational objectives and projects programs supporting the NNSA's Production and Planning Directive and resulting program control documentation. Honeywell FM&T Digital Transformation strategic initiative to define and implement the Next Generation ERP system
- Function in a lead technical/advisory role which may involve responsibility for the work of specific individuals and providing technical direction to them
- Work with management and other functional areas to formulate and implement strategies necessary to meet Digital Transformation Next Generation ERP deliverables and key milestones
You Must Have:
- U.S. citizenship in order to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance
- 7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related activities and in managing projects and/or programs
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, scientific, or business-related field
We Value:
- Experience in development and production of weapon systems and components
- Successful history of working with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and its NSE laboratories and production facilities
- Experience leading multi-disciplined teams
- Technical understanding of weapon systems and component functions preferred. Understanding of the NSE weapons acquisition and product realization process
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in strategic planning preferred
- Knowledge of the NSE transformation plan
- Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills are required
- Must have effective, proven ability in decision making, problem solving, and influencing others Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business system improvements
- Strong coordination and planning skills
- Excellent teaming skills
- Demonstrated customer service and evidence of six sigma/continuous improvement actions Ability to analyze and interpret information and articulate observations and recommendations for technical and programmatic impact
- Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment demonstrating solid independent judgment
- Professional designation in management preferred
- Certain positions within this classification may require a particular expertise or knowledge
