About This Job

As a Credit Supervisor your job will be to prepare credit packets, ensure quality control, training and develop employees, and more. You'll be responsible for the West Region Credit Department workflow by assigning tasks to individuals throughout the footprint.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure quality with a CAS Packet Review that emphasizes the accuracy of SOX components and underwriting templates, completeness and consistency of analysis throughout with emphasis on key issues, collateral, repayment sources, and risk rating rationales

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in regards to financial statement spreading, accuracy and completeness of spreads

  • Prepare packet compilations for the onboarding of new department employees

  • Assist with gathering and providing feedback on credit department personnel

  • Compile and circulate CAS packets, create meeting agendas, and record minutes for any Western Region loan committee meetings as needed

  • Create and use profitability models using CRISP both projected and historical methodology

  • Perform annual ACH review

  • Manage past due and upcoming pipelines of credit reviews

  • Maintain disaster recovery plan coordination and documentation

  • Oversee department workflow and effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members

  • Provide guidance to employees on departmental projects/issues, coach and develop training plans, lead development conversations and answer day-to-day questions for team members

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of the credit field, financial analysis, and banking industry

  • Ability to travel to other markets within department region

  • Ability to develop and coach team members with proven ability to achieve results through collaboration and teamwork

  • Self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Strong level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred

  • 4+ years credit or related financial experience required
