The primary responsibilities of the Event Planner involve leading the overall development and execution of client events and marketing initiatives! Including in-person, hybrid and virtual events for the Sales channels!. Primary Responsibilities: Leading the planning, development and coordination of marketing and business strategies in support of the Sales business plan. This includes all details of assigned meetings: logistics, event design, budget management, compliance documentation, on-site event management, staffing and wrap up. Developing and supporting registration process to include building registration websites, correspondence with attendees, coordinating with hotel on rooming needs, crafting all appropriate reports, reconciliation of registration changes and keeping records of all email confirmations, questions, and resolution to concerns. Collaborating with internal support teams including Creative Services, Video and Editorial to develop materials required for event activation. Handle overall record keeping for each meeting/event to include internal and external reports detailing all aspects of the event with careful attention to detail. Develop measurements to evaluate program effectiveness, consider recommendations and implement quality improvements as necessary. Assist with copywriting, proofreading and editing for printed and online materials as needed. Provide support to other members of the Meetings and Events team. Required Skills: Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate and manage individuals and a team. Strong integrative skills and a consistent track record to work cross functionally. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and an ability to synthesize large volumes of information from a diversity of sources into meaningful, cogent conclusions and recommendations. Dedication to quality with a focus on timeliness and attention to detail. Computer Skills/Proficient in MS applications and event registration applications. Required Experience/Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. (5) year's Event Planning experience. (3-5) years Marketing experience. Customer Service experience. Working knowledge of GlobalMeet, Webex, CVENT, Salesforce, WorkFront. Knowledge of FINRA guidelines preferred. Financial Services industry experience preferred. Work Environment: Some travel required. Occasional night and weekend work. Some lifting, carrying and walking activities involved - not normal office environment.
