Located in St. Louis MO, we are a leading international manufacturer of state-of-the-art machinery for the food and beverage industry. Our customers range from some of the largest fast food chains in the world down to school districts, and we are continuing to grow. We are looking to bring on a talented Product Manager with industry experience. There is great potential for career growth and upward mobility, but we need someone to start hands-on on the floor and open to ~50% travel to our facilities and customer sites.

- Be the Internal/External Product Champion, including being the one primary point of contact for information on the product, target market and competition. Be the product specific training resource for customers and sales people.
- Explore and analyze strategic partnerships and alliances for assigned product line(s).
- Coordinate with marketing to develop all necessary sales tools and product collateral to assure a consistent "on-target" presentation and product communication.
- Manage the life cycle of all products within the assigned category.
- Establish clear, market-driven roadmaps for the product lines. Conduct regular analysis of product line(s) to determine current and future product viability and determine on-going support of specific products.
- Provide a leadership role in new product development. Champion the Environment and Voice of the Customer process. Own the launch process which includes market readiness, pricing, positioning and establishment of the business case.
- Conduct market research with customers, prospective customers, channel partners, sales people, engineering, competitors. As required, continuously update market requirements.
4-5+ years of experience in the following:
- Capital Goods
- Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering
- B2B - travel to customer sites
- Food service equipment a plus
- Product Development Lifecycle
- Engineer to order a plus
- Product Roadmap
- Market research - competitive analysis - vision
- Product Portfolio Management
- Bachelor's degree in related field / MBA a plus
