Overview

Reporting to the Business Systems & Analytics Manager, the Supply Chain Informatics Analyst supports the Supply Chain Information System consisting of the Infor ERP as well as other related technologies and systems. This individual will have baseline knowledge of the key system platforms. This includes but isn't limited to the following: o Development and support of CM Item Master o Development and support of core Infor (ERP) support efforts o Development and support of internal related/connected IS platforms such as Cerner, Strata, etc. o Development and support of external related/connected IS platforms such as Vizient, GHX, VAMS, etc. Working in conjunction with the Business Systems & Analytics Manager, this individual will assist in the KPI and benchmarking efforts as well as lean process improvement work driving greater value for the entire CM organization.

Responsibilities

* Supply Chain data maintenance: Updates requester, vendor, item number and other system attributes. Manages, reviews and enters, data changes, additions, deletions. Develops and Administers guidelines related to data standards, ensures that guidelines are followed to achieve data integrity, consistency and accuracy. Maintains centralized components of respective Infor module(s) necessary to maintain consistency and data integrity with the Infor ERP system. Monitors daily / weekly updating of requesters, vendor information, item numbers, pricing and other system attributes. Maintains user security, rights and roles in software, ensuring that users are assigned the appropriate functionality for their needs. Manages requests for custom requisitions and the build of routinely ordered items. Manages requisition templates in Infor, building hospital wide templates and advising departments on department templates. Researches and accesses GPO contracts and verifies applicability to item master items. Makes changes as necessary, maximizing cost savings and researching products that add value to the hospital.
* Data Analytics: Supports all supply chain functions with the design, development and distribution of reports, metrics and other analytical tools related to Supply Chain. Creates and maintains queries and reports as needed. Works with other hospitals/organization as well as CM end-user community to develop metric/benchmark data for productivity/financial measures, converts data to information. Participates in orientation, training, and knowledge transfer of new staff.
* Customer Service Support: Serves as resource to end users for Infor system functionality, capabilities and integration. Supports integration of sub-systems and technology such as Point of Use and hand-held devices, electronic commerce and interfaces to other information systems. In conjunction with the IS team establishes and maintains EDI connections, maximizing use of transaction sets. Develops and maintains punchout technology utilization. Attends Infor sponsored user group meetings as needed to gain knowledge regarding module(s) supported and/or new modules under consideration. Participates in testing of CU releases, patches, upgrades, and new software products used in conjunction with the Infor ERP system. Liaison between IS and functional areas for Infor and related technology.
* Problem Resolution: Provide first level support and coordinate problem resolution or follow up related to supply chain applications designed with a high degree of complexity. Researches and analyzes any problems or concerns of those within department concerning supply chain functions and incorporate problem solving techniques before reporting same to Information Services support. Collaborates with IS system support to troubleshoot and resolve application problems. Serves as liaison between IS support and Supply Chain department personnel for system troubleshooting.
* Project Management: Researches technological improvements and works with technology vendors to bring improvement ideas to reality. Facilitates with new systems implementations, upgrades and enhancements. Works closely with all Supply Chain departments to ensure systems initiatives are reviewed for appropriateness and prioritization. Uses information to validate supply chain operations and suggest new opportunities. Makes recommendations to leadership regarding enhancement opportunities. Develops charters, project plans, deliverables, resources requirements and timelines. Engages IS technical resources as appropriate. Understands and follows IT troubleshooting, testing, security and segregation of duties protocols.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years experience or
* Associate's Degree and 3-5 years experience or
* HS diploma or equivalent and 5-7 years experience
* CMRP Certified Materials and Resource Professional Preferred

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $26.55, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is entirely remote or work-from-home. The person hired must live in the Kansas City metro area and may attend on-site meetings, as scheduled.
