Director of Pharmacy

Fitzgibbon Hospital

Marshall, Missouri

As the full time, exempt staffing Director of Pharmacy with CPS® at Fitzgibbons Hospital of Marshall, Missouri, you will oversee all pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and controlling activities according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will fill orders with accuracy and maintain security of the pharmacy and controlled substances. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team at CPS®, including experts in pharmacy operations, clinical administration, and regulatory compliance.

Schedule: This position will works primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm.

About the Facility: Fitzgibbon Hospital, is an acute care, non profit 60 bed community hospital. Fitzgibbon Hospital is a leader in central Missouri in providing quality, compassionate care and personal attention to patients. Services include a Cancer Center, Ambulatory Care, ICU, MedSurg, OR, ER, Women Center, and Specialists' clinics. CPS® has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS®.

About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 6:30am-5pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-3:30pm. Pharmacy systems include Cerner and Cerner Rx Station.

Required Qualifications:

* BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
* Missouri Pharmacist licensure in good standing
* At least 3 years of recent work experience as an acute care hospital Pharmacist
* Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred
* Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility
* Experience with MS Office Suite and pharmacy order entry systems
* Effective communications skills; verbal and written
