As a Total Rewards Program Manager, you will manage benefits and compensation (total rewards) program design and effectiveness for the Company.

In this role you will:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs on a regular basis.
  • Monitor and benchmark the attractiveness of total rewards programs against the industry and key competitors.
  • Maintain and refresh the Company's well-being strategy.
  • Work with Accounting, Finance, Legal and Human Resources (HR) to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Lead the total reward vendor selection process.
  • Periodically audit and monitor total reward vendors for compliance to contract terms, and against required service levels.
  • Regularly report on the performance of all total rewards plans.
  • Research and develop recommendations for total reward plans changes to address Company needs.


What you bring to the table:
  • 5 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to: developing, managing, and evaluating various components of compensation programs including base pay, bonuses, incentives, sales compensation and commission plans, and executive pay
  • Experience managing defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans
  • Four-year degree: HR, finance, or related field required
  • Advanced degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) certification preferred
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations
  • Experience with continuous improvement techniques and practices
  • Strongly proficient in compensation and benefits theory and design
  • Knowledge of the wholesale distribution industry
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff and achieve results through others
  • Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Able to develop and execute strategic plans and budget effectively
  • Oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized; able to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including the ability to assess and manage priorities
  • Ability to select and manage vendors and negotiate effectively
  • Some travel required
