Job description
Flare Partners is looking to hire its' first Business Development Representative, building outs our Revenue Group focused on SMB and SME client development. The BDR will drive revenue in each of our service lines: Management + Operations Consulting, Marketing + Communications Consulting, and IT Services.
Flare Partners is a strategy-led + execution-focused leading consulting & advisory firm for executives, entertainers, and public-private corporations. The firm focuses on transformation and scaling client businesses through a wide variety of strategy-first execution-centered services through Marketing & Communications, Management & Operations, and Information Technology. We've provided services to clients through each of our service lines, such as AT&T, Ford Motor Company, Endeavor Group, Facebook, K-Swiss, Faith Church.com, The Potter's House at ONE LA, and Steve Harvey Global.
We partner with executives and their organizations through our Management + Operations service line to understand their challenges and advise on those solutions, including Fractional Executive engagements.
Through our Marketing + Communications service line, we provide ad-hoc through full-service advertising and marketing services to our clients.
Through our Information Technology service line, we a Solutions Provider for SAAS solutions such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Asana & ActiveCampaign.
In this role, you'll:
- Be instrumental in powering the revenue engine at Flare through innovation & energy, consistently scaling our business, and maximizing value for our customers.
- Partner with the Founder & Managing Director to understand the existing organic sales approach and build an outbound business development & sales strategy.
- Experiment with new processes, tools, and systems to generate new customer opportunities.
- Develop and leverage customer relationships to expand the scope of services or products they're committed to.
- Consult with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their business and needs to articulate how we can support those needs.
- Build strategic customer narratives, talk tracks, and positioning tailored to specific customer segments.
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals monthly.
- Work from home or a co-working space, ultimately based in St. Louis, MO.
3+ years in sales- 1-2 years selling Marketing or Management Consulting, IT Services, or B2B SAAS Solutions
- Experience selling multi-vertical solutions to business clients
- Proven ability to effectively influence senior-level decision-makers
- Ability to set repeatable processes that support a high volume of customer interactions
- A storyteller who is comfortable presenting a company and product to anyone in any setting
- A self-starter, comfortable with fully operating in a virtual work environment
- Proficiency in developing solution-oriented customer narratives, including designing and presenting from decks, briefs, and whiteboards
- Proven consultative sales solution skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Go-getter mentality and driven attitude where you will work towards achieving new goals
- Can identify opportunities to optimize our lead prioritization and outreach processes
