Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst III, Supply Chain Applications reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Applications within the Global IT team. This role's main responsibility is to implement global strategic projects, small projects and enhancements and support. This role will work with all levels of corporate and global Supply Chain teams to drive innovation, efficiencies and improvements to the portfolio of Warehouse Management (WM) and Logistics Execution (LE). The candidate for this role must have experience with SAP ECC 6.0 Supply Chain modules, SD business processes and have demonstrated success managing projects, enhancements and support. While accountable for SAP WM, SAP LE and SAP SD, this role may also have responsibility for other Supply Chain related applications and projects supporting our business.
Accountabilities
- Member of project team for SAP rollout in SAP WM, LE area in a global environment.
- Work directly with business partners to gather requirements for enhancements and deliver solutions to business issues in the overall finance & controlling area
- Responsible for designing, configuring, documenting, delivering, supporting, and testing SAP WM, LE and SD solutions (i.e. Order to Cash) to meet business requirements.
- Design functional specifications and work with programmers to oversee the timely completion and efficiency of development objects, conduct unit and integration testing and maintain documentation Train end users on SAP processes in areas such as WM, LE and SD with SAP ECC 6.0
- Work directly with EDI team to ensure 3PL communications
- Develop relationships that will position IT as a trusted business partner.
- Collaborate with representatives of other IT/functional areas to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
- Identify opportunities to standardize processes and system configuration globally and ensure compliance across all implementation to these standards
- Ensure business application systems are developed in a way that complies with established standards, methodologies and best practices.
- Advise management of the project status and problems, or potential problems, on a regular basis
- Perform special projects as required
Specific Accountabilities
- May also perform additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems or related field;
7+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years' experience configuring various SAP ECC 6.0 WM, LE modules, PP modules that support a global enterprise - Project and production support experience with SAP WM, SAP LE and SAP ECC 6.0 processes including Order to Cash, Warehouse Management and Logistics Execution.
- Demonstrated ability to configure core SAP Modules of WM, LE and other core Supply Chain Modules within SAP
- Strong EDI (SAP PI/PO) knowledge and 3PL experience.
- Experience working with Cross Functional Processes including Finance and Controlling, Commercial, Procure to Pay and Manufacturing
- Experience with various phases of project life cycle: Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support
- Demonstrated ability to debug SAP ABAP
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Works well with teams or in a team environment, with the ability to work independently
- Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage IT projects
