Role Overview

This role in review covered full responsibility and ownership of supply chain operations for North America business inclusive of Adult, Baby and Pets Nutrition & Care (all brands). He/She will be responsible for End to End Planning including demand, supply, inventory management, while ensuring adequate supply to support brands to deliver Revenue Goal in timely manner. He/She will also be responsible for Global Sourcing and Supply Planning for Pets Nutrition & Care, including sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods as well as managing Contract Manufacturers regularly to ensure sufficient rolling capacity plan to support the growth of Global Pets business. He/she will be closely collaborating with Brand functions (Sales Ops, Marketing, Product Development, Finance team) while driving synergy with Global Planning ensure carrying processes that are globally consistent.

Position Responsibilities

  • Driving North America supply chain operations and taking ownership to fully understand demand changes, be agile on managing supply plan to support volatility of Market change across all brands.
  • Driving ownership and accountability with North America Brand owners, raising challenges leveraging Executive S&OP process to ensure alignment on action and decision as an outcome
  • Driving alignment across multiple functions (Global / Regional functions) to ensure purchase order can be fulfilled on timely manner across all Brands (Swisse / Biostime / SolidGold Pets / Zesty Paws).
  • Driving operational excellence across both Demand planning and supply planning functions for North America business, triggering change or creating new process while necessary to enable efficiency in Supply Chain Operations team.
  • Ability to analyze current supply constraints and issue against North America's orders, identify opportunities to drive future improvement to smoothen supply planning and ordering process.
  • Managing North America's inventory with optimal level, constantly review result of demand changes and actively look into solution to tackle challenges on inventory risks & opportunities
  • Own and drive the sourcing of Pets Nutrition & Care (PNC) business including sourcing of raw materials, packaging material and finished goods
  • Partnering with Contract Manufacturers (CM) to ensure capacity plans and reserves will be able to supply orders from H&H group. Act as key person of contact for Global PNC business to liaise with Contract manufacturer on pricing and capacity.
  • Driving and aligning regional supply plans (Global PNC Orders) on monthly basis and understanding the change in supply forecast, be able to adjust to the change in forecast while partner with CM to revisit capacity plan constantly.
  • Supporting Product team in development of NPD, act as consultant to ensure desire launch date can be met by advising downstream / upstream impact that is related to sourcing of materials and capacity from CMs.
  • Regularly touch base with multiple functions (Both Global and Regional), gaining trust and be able to build partnership with Brand and other share service functions and influencing decision making and achieving Brand / Common goals.
  • Lead and providing guidance to the team to ensure appropriate coaching and development are in place across different levels in the team
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of practical experience in Demand & Supply Planning / Sourcing
  • Pets Food or FMCG industry working experience is preferred
  • Strong business acumen with outstanding analytical as well as problem solving skills.
  • Well-organized, logical & mature thinking, attention to details, dedicated, energetic and being a self-starter
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.
  • Practical experience in SAP/ AX/ Oracle, forecasting model is definite advantage
