Due to continued growth, Honeywell is hiring for a Senior Human Resource Generalist. This role will provide human resource support for Honeywell Intelligrated while partnering with cross-functional teams and leaders. You will actively engage in staffing, union relations, organizational development, and talent management. You will utilize your human resource functional expertise to align critical human resources principles with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Build relationships cross-functionally
* Drive organizational effectiveness
* Promote and advance teamwork and continuous process improvements to achieve business unit's objectives and goals
* Maintain business unit headcount information to be used in HR reporting requirements such as affirmative action planning
* Investigate allegations
* Manage and develop talent
* Review staffing requirements and assist management in identifying qualified job applicants
* Coordinate and document disciplinary action with appropriate HR management to ensure consistency
* Lead training and development
* Counsel associates in career planning and development to promote a motivated, trained, and competent work force
* Counsel and coach associates and management in addressing interpersonal and behavioral challenges
* Administrative support: compensation, change of status, offer process, data migration, run reports (Oracle)
* Provide information and orientation regarding programs and policies
* Handle a variety of compensation related issues, including development of salary quotes, performing job analyses/evaluations and preparing job descriptions
* Lead change management
* Create environment which values diversity
Ability to travel up to 15%
YOU MUST HAVE
* Bachelor's Degree
WE VALUE
* At least 5 years of human resource experience
* At least 3 years of experience in a labor/mfg environment
* Union/Organized labor experience (ie grievances, arbitrations, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle conflict and influence at varying levels across the organization
* Capable of handling multiple priorities and navigate in a complex and highly matrixed environment
* Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
* Ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
* Demonstrated expertise in effective interpersonal skills, including interviewing, counseling, and group presentations
* Working knowledge of government laws, regulations, and legal decisions affecting human resources issues
