This key Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position will be responsible for providing strategic and administrative HR leadership, coaching, consultation, and operational support to the Holdrege Manufacturing Facility. The successful HRBP will provide a value-added service to line management, proactively offering HR solutions to drive the business agenda.

  • Acts as a trusted advisor to client leaders, strategically and proactively partnering with clients on matters related to organizational capability and capacity analysis and planning, talent selection and development, associate engagement, organizational communication, etc.
  • Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to drive and /or lead change. Develops and effectively implements team development/team building strategies both proactively and when necessary to improve team performance. Identifies solutions to align organizational structure, roles & responsibilities, staffing levels, matrix management, etc. in a way that advances the business agenda.
  • Actively consults with clients to understand organizational development needs across their site location, identifying trends, patterns, etc, and presenting recommendations as part of a needs assessment.
  • Works with client leaders to efficiently and effectively execute all annual BD Human Resources processes for client organizations. These processes include Talent and Succession Planning, Performance Management, Development, & Compensation.
  • Leads discussions on all decisions affecting reductions-in-force or layoffs (voluntary & involuntary) within their client organizations. Assists with the development and execution of such plans.
  • Leads and drives plant communication, recognition, time administration and security requirements for the site


Education and/ or Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree or above with significant course work in Business Human Resources Psychology or Law.
  • Minimum of eight to ten years of Human Resources related experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of all local legal requirements related to Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to assess situations quickly. Develop short and long term strategies and implement them in the face of ambiguity.
  • Experience supporting a diverse client group including manufacturing and non-manufacturing clients ranging from hourly operating associates to professional business functions
  • PHR or SPHR certification.
