Job description
The specialist is responsible for supporting Streck's human resources information system (HRIS), human resources reporting needs, and dashboard metric information. They will ensure the integrity of the HRIS, identify improvements or enhancements, implement new modules or updates, provide support for employee-users, and support departmental reporting needs. Additionally, the specialist will support other departmental technology needs such as intranet support, various SharePoint pages promoting HR products and services, and other projects as requested.
The primary responsibilities include:
- Administer and support the UKG human resources information system, reviewing enhancements, working with the HR team on optimal usage of each module, updating, testing, and implementing the system as needed.,
- Manage security administration for the HRIS to ensure the integrity of all data in the system.
- Support system end-users by answering questions, assisting with employee access issues, serving as an overall resource, and producing / updating end-user instructional guides on how to use each module of the system.
- Collaborate with team members for reporting needs from UKG HRIS and the business intelligence product to provide quality data from the human resources department by creating, maintaining, and distributing reports as needed.
- Support company-wide and internal department SharePoint intranet pages by ensuring optimal resources and proper function, creating navigational ease for all-employee use, and building pages or links as requested. Respond to leader requests for content deployment regarding internal company updates, all-employee notices, and general information.
- Partner with our Information Technology department to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness of the UKG system and company intranet platform.
- Learn all company protocols and intricacies of human resources activities so that this position can support all human resource initiatives by providing input and insight on system offerings for the organization.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements include:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business communications, human resources or related discipline is required.
- One to three years of experience with HRIS systems; preferred experience with UKG.
- Experience in human resources is preferred.
- Experience with SharePoint, Abode, Photoshop, or related programs is preferred.
