Job description

This position is responsible for performing recruitment functions that will ensure quality and committed hires for the organization. This position will assist in full cycle recruitment that will consist of sourcing, advertising jobs, screening, interviewing, and prospective offers. This individual will also support outreach functions by building relationships at the education and community partner level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  1. Implement recruitment activities that support recruitment strategies to attract qualified job candidates within the organization. Those activities are: reviewing job candidates, documenting candidate information, conducting phone interviews, organizing on-site interviews, completing background screens and references, and other functions that support the process.
  2. Assist in the development and placement of job opening advertisements throughout a variety of on-site platforms, notifying community partners and handling other job promotion activities.
  3. Assist with community partners to ensure they are aware of job openings, establishing corporate relationships and maintaining connection to build job candidate pipelines for future talent.
  4. Organize on-campus activities with established schools to promote current and future job openings with the organization. Participate in on-campus activities. Support corporate relationship with career center partners to prepare individuals for entering the workforce while building a potential pipeline for talent.
  5. Organize and facilitate Streck's summer program providing exposure for students at both the professional and personal development level.
  1. Facilitate diversity and inclusion activities to promote inclusivity with the community and opportunities to showcase differences within the workplace.
  1. Assist the maintenance of job descriptions to ensure accurate and compliant descriptions of the work.
  2. Maintain and support all social media platforms with the most up to date information of the organization as a way to promote the Streck brand and attract candidates.
  3. Build passive candidate pipelines for future job opportunities and succession planning.
  4. Complete all other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resource management, business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Previous work experience with demonstrated ability related to recruitment and selection.
