Job description

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle and coordinate active calendars
  • Schedule and confirm meetings
  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Provide ad hoc support around office as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Manage a team of 5-10 employees
  • Order parts for each job and manage timely parts arrival
  • Review work orders with technicians and oversee repairs
  • Look for up-sell & cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain production board daily with estimator(s) and run production meetings.
  • Order body shop supplies/materials
  • Perform final inspection/quality checks
  • Write SOP's for company operations and ensure they are enforced throughout location
  • Train new technicians and set up continued RVIA training when its available.
  • Maintain safety plan/OSHA records and compliance
  • Manage vendors and oversee purchasing at location including shop layout and equipment
  • Transport units as needed to other locations or deliveries back to customer.
  • Strive for employee satisfaction
  • Work with contractors as needed.
  • Take ownership of the location and handle every aspect of the business in a professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain a professional workspace
  • Dress professionally and maintain good hygiene
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Alternating Saturdays

Preferred Skills

  • Paint & Body knowledge helpful
  • RV Background a plus
  • Production management experience helpful
  • Willingness to work on any type of vehicle including; cars, trucks, boats, semis, RV's
  • Self motivated
  • Detail oriented
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills
  • Exhibits superior verbal communication and phone skills.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever changing work environment.

Requirements

  • Willing to learn new systems and take on projects
  • Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team and service oriented; builds strong working relationships.
  • Experience as a manager in some capacity.
  • Very high attendance

  • Desire to succeed.
  • Strong diagnostic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electric brakes, hydraulic brakes
  • Pay based on experience and bonuses earned
