The Lead Specialist will contribute to our team environment by leading, directing and coordinating a customer experience that is worthy of our continued success story. Our team's key role is to develop a collaborative working relationship with the Specialty Banking Group. The Lead Specialists - Business Loan Processor is critical to onboarding, collateral perfection, loan documentation preparation, loan closing and ongoing loan maintenance.

*This is a Hybrid Remote position

Key Accountabilities:

Effective Communication

  • Communicate and coordinate with Specialty Banking lenders by collaborating with the business operations, obtain the required documentation, perfect collateral, reconcile ongoing monitoring items and develop relationships with effective communication.
  • Develop the skill of mindfulness, learning to be pleasantly persistent at times to collect information that is required to satisfy of deliverables.

Workflows, Product Ownership and Collaboration

  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly duties to gain experience and job knowledge that includes but is not limited to : collateral monitoring, document verification, and establishing communication with internal and external customers.
  • Manage assigned Relationship Manger's portfolio
  • Audit attorney documents ensuring approved terms and conditions are incorporated into all documentation before borrower execution
  • Accountable for owning the business loan process while avoiding side-stepping tasks

Professionalism/Compliance

  • Show professional conduct and promote positive working relationships. Sustain regular and predictable attendance in alignment with departmental/divisional policy.
  • Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and bank's BSA/AML program, as applicable to your job duties.

Knowledge, Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience in exceptional customer service
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to reason, judge, compare, calculate, and critique such information and respond to Relationship Manager's inquiries and /or related activities.
  • Attention to detail, particularly with regarding to being customer focused
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must have ability to effectively communicate with customers and business partners
  • Ability to collaboratively work in team environment
