POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Accountant I is responsible for leading routine Accounting processes in General and Financial Accounting; provide a wide range of Accounting/financial and analytical skills preparation, review, and analysis of various Accounting/Operational reports.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform General Accounting functions (i.e., complete Journal Entries, prepare financial reports, and account analysis)
  • Perform Budget and Projection functions
  • Perform Fixed Asset functions
  • Assist with Payroll/General Ledger functions
  • Participate on process improvement teams within functional area (i.e., Month-End, Annual Budget process, etc.)
  • Initiate and develop process improvements
  • Develop, maintain, and use standard operating procedures and work instructions for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly
  • Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments
  • Ability to work and interact well with others
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelors' Degree in Accounting/Finance or working towards degree
Experience: 0-3 years of Accounting experience
