Job description

POSITION PURPOSE:
To maintain accurate and sufficient laboratory inventory and fulfill supply orders for clients or internal departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of computers and data entry.
• Excellent communication skills and comprehension of oral/written instructions.
• Knowledge and experience in warehouse shipping and receiving

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION(S):

• Receive and ship supplies for laboratory departments and clients.
• Maintain an accurate and sufficient inventory of supplies.
• Audit the inventory counts for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Receive and store supplies when delivered and/or deliver to departments.
• Answer inquiries and take requests from clients and department personnel.
• Prepare items to ship or be delivered.
• Utilize an online inventory management system.
• Punctual and regular attendance at assigned work location.
• Other duties as assigned including building maintenance and document archiving

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Frequent bending, standing, walking, stooping, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Frequent repetitive movement.
• Exposure to inclement weather
