Job description

Our client is seeking a Payroll Administrator to process and audit bi-weekly payroll reports in ADP. This role will include producing and reconciling monthly reports relative to payroll, as well as other projects as assigned.

Our client is a well-established organization of several entities within the retail/restoration industry. Their distribution facility is based out of state, with most of their Accounting Department working within their Omaha office. Here are the primary responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage the processing of ADP payroll
  • Reconcile wages paid to the general ledger
  • Validate wholesale commission monthly reports
  • Maintain a recap of quarterly payroll tax returns with reconciliation to year end W-2's
  • Reconcile monthly benefit invoices and approve for payment
  • Accrue monthly payroll liabilities
  • Maintain balance sheet account analysis including supporting documents
  • Analyze business activity as directed for management reports
  • Provide back up to support sales tax analysis

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 years' payroll experience required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, required
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Must be a problem solver with a 'self-starter' work ethic
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
  • Ability to travel occasionally, preferred
