The project manager is responsible for maintaining a high level view of projects across their respective teams as well as communicating with external parties on progress and deliverables. They will work closely with the tpm to understand the crew's progress as well as come up with projected timelines for delivery. The project manager will clear roadblacks that stand in the way and promptly get information to the correct individuals to keep projects on track.

  • Works with product and technical project managers to manage the current and future projects across their teams
  • Ensures the projects flow smoothly and project related meetings are happening on a timely basis.
  • Collaborates with other departments to clear roadblocks
  • Coordinates with marketing and CS to create a plan for project rollouts
  • Facilities daily standups with their teams
  • Communicates and informs necessary parties inside and outside of the Engineering department on the current state of projects
  • Collaborates with the crew to construct estimates and timelines for projects
  • Provides projections to leadership about project delivery timelines.
  • Toggles feature flags on so that projects can go live and appropriately while communicating release information to stakeholders.

  • Takes ownership of large initiatives and projects across various departments within the company

the preferred candidates

• Have been in a Project Manager role for at least 3 years managing projects for Software Engineering teams
• 3+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with an understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
• Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
• Effective communication skills in non-technical areas.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Skilled diplomat who understands and listens to everyone's point of view
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain detailed records of client feedback
• Can work independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication
