Job description

The Project Manager leads Implementation projects to their successful completion. The projects are related to converting new or legacy customers to Agility. Projects may also include addition of new locations, mergers / acquisitions for existing clients, or the addition of productivity solution products. May also be involved with other professional services engagements such as training, system utilization, and special consultation. All Implementation team members back fill the Support Center or serve as knowledge resources for escalation of cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  1. Manages implementation projects for the installation and conversion of customers to Agility (or productivity solutions products, if applicable).
  2. Serves as primary customer contact on assigned projects.
  3. Supervises work of assigned staff and coordinates work with other DMSi team members. Provides performance feedback to staff who participate on projects.
  4. Uses knowledge of DMSi products and other knowledge resources to design / configure the implementation plan and product set up.
  5. Ensures all project administration tasks are completed in accordance with policy and service approach, including time recording and project closure.
  6. Utilizes DMSi's internal project management, customer support and knowledge tools.
  7. Completes and manages assigned services and prepares related documentation for services and deliverables (including billing).
  8. Provide / attend / assist with training for internal personnel or customers / prospects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply ERP System concepts; understand business process, and accounting principles and procedures.
  2. Ability to apply project management skills and utilize DMSi project management tools
  3. Good verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Good analytical, logical, research and problem solving skills.
  5. Ability to positively interact with all levels of the company and with others outside the company.
  6. Ability to maintain a high degree of tact, professionalism and confidentiality.
  7. Ability to operate primary office equipment and computers
  8. Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Normal office environment with use of computers and telephone systems; no unusual physical demands. Travel to customer locations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
College degree in Accounting, MIS, Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience.
