The Sales Support Coordinator role is ideal for those who have a strong background in lending and understand the ins and outs of lending operations.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop and use your lending and sales support skills to work closely with customers and prospects to deliver exceptional customer service and advise them on products which best meet their financial needs. You'll also provide the sales support necessary to grow the Agribusiness Capital and Retail Commercial Lending portfolio. This role will be responsible for sales pipeline activities including coordinating prospect, partner and customer communication, planning industry sales meetings, and providing industry event support.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing:

  • Provide sales support necessary to grow the Agribusiness Capital and Retail Commercial Lending portfolio through partnership with the relationship manager to promote products and engage leads/prospects and/or customers through marketing campaigns and assisting with packaging of loan proposals.
  • Monitor and manage sales pipeline activity of assigned relationship managers.
  • Schedule, plan and participate in sales meetings.
  • Assist with planning industry trade show events.
  • Work directly with customers to cross-sell and support products and services (e. AgriPoint, Account Access, FCS Cash Manager, remote deposit capture, etc.).
  • Maintain a high level of quality assurance in day-to-day processes to ensure operational excellence.

Loan Processing and Coordination:

  • Accountable for coordination and processing of new loan activities in both our originated and purchased loan/lease portfolios (application completion, pushing/pulling/requesting loan documentation, collection of applicable fees, ensure all conditions met prior to closing, accurate and complete booking & funding).
  • Will involve a high level of direct contact and involvement with customers and lending partners throughout the loan process.
  • Identify priorities and ensure effective coordination of priorities by all team members serving the customer/partner.
  • Pull Credit Bureau, Dunn & Bradstreet Reports, UCC lien searches, and Certificate of Good Standing as needed on all liable entities.
  • Coordinate with Loan Accounting team members to ensure accuracy of customer activity in the Loan Accounting system.
  • Conduct various verification processes to ensure correct level of information has been obtained/input correctly.

Customer Service:

  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong customer and lending partner relationships by providing a consistent quality level of service that is timely, thorough, and responsive to the needs of the customer.
  • Serve as initial point of contact for customers related to funding, monitoring, rate conversions, and renewal activities.

Qualifications

  • 5+years' experience sales, commercial lending, loan processing, customer service, title/mortgage industry or similar type of industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to initiate, prioritize and organize work
  • Self-Starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or equivalent related experience and/or specialized training will be considered.
