VOTED BEST PLACE TO WORK IN OMAHA!
Are you looking for the chance to be an essential part in someone's rehabilitation and recovery? Do you want to work with a positive team that helps you achieve goals and celebrates your success? Do you want to face different challenges every day and utilize your strengths to solve them?
QLI is a national leader in providing a comprehensive approach to the therapeutic process of a person who is recovering from the effects of a spinal cord or traumatic brain injury. We are a passionate and mission-focused team committed to delivering life-changing rehabilitation and care. It's not about titles at QLI--we value our people, our creativity, our results, our Mission.
Come join the team that supports your personal and professional growth-become who you are meant to be!
Position Summary:
As a Teacher's Aide, you are essential in preparing our residents for their lives after rehab. Your day-to-day interactions will vary and no two days are alike-one day you might help someone with grocery shopping and the next day you will help a resident learn how to prepare a meal for a family gathering. Other activities might include assisting with college registration, navigating options for new equipment, or helping a resident publish a book. This is not a position where you just check a box and do the same thing for every resident--together you help mold their recovery and revive their purpose after they leave. This is an exciting and unique opportunity!
