Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will identify, recruit, and screen potential employees for our critical hiring needs. This role will manage the recruiting process and partner with Hiring Managers and Senior Leadership. This position will be responsible for achieving recruitment goals across various departments and job functions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Consult with Hiring Managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the open position. Ensure job descriptions are accurate and well written.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to create and review job requisitions and develop a recruitment strategy to optimize the interview experience.
  • Conduct periodic interview training with managers and other interviewers in the organization to ensure compliance and integrity of our interviewing process.
  • Pre-screen candidates to determine alignment of capabilities to job requirements.
  • Present qualified, interested candidates for the interviewing phase to Hiring Managers. Connect viable candidates with Hiring Managers. Arrange interview meetings (in-person or phone) and confirm with all involved.
  • Counsel candidates on the interview and hiring process. Provide excellent customer service to candidates, i.e., act as key point of contact, ensure timely follow-up, etc. Solicit feedback from candidates to continuously improve the hiring experience.
  • Keep Hiring Managers and other key leaders informed on the status of hiring progress, challenges, etc.
  • Conduct continuous outreach, networking, and engagement techniques to develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for key roles across the organization. Utilize job fairs, on-line job boards and social media outlets.
  • Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract a highly qualified and diverse candidate pool.
  • Partner with Marketing Team to develop branding strategy to attract quality candidates and establish Highline Internet as an employer of choice in our markets.
  • Accurately document conversations, engage, and track candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Actively lead and participate in negotiation of offers, including review of salary expectation with candidates, collaboration with HR and hiring managers to define appropriate compensation benchmarks, offer letter generation, approvals, and extension of formal offers.
  • Create Open Job reports to analyze data and trends.
  • Conduct Stay Interviews with provide feedback to management team.
  • Actively participate and contribute to process improvement strategies with Human Resources and the organization where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience, preferably within a telecommunications organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent requisitions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build productive long-term relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior executives.
  • Familiarity with social media and professional networks.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Results driven with proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.
  • High level of self-confidence, sense of urgency and ability to make independent decisions.
  • Works both autonomously and as a member of a team.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen (and Random Selections).
