The PF Headquarters Information Systems team is searching for a Business Systems Analyst.

About the Role: As our Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting, evaluating, and solving business challenges by effectively implementing technology solutions. You will act as a bridge between our Business and Data teams, through defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements, then leveraging them to drive technical design while managing a project's scope, acceptance, testing, and deployment.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven SDLC experience with a focus on software testing best practices, test plan creation and execution, change control procedures, and testing software/tools. The right candidate will be exceptionally driven and technically skilled, business savvy, and intuitive with respect to delving into user needs.

As our Business Systems Analyst, you will gain a breadth and depth of Business Systems knowledge across the entire technology portfolio including, Salesforce.com, Data Warehousing, Point of Sale systems, and digital systems

In this role you will:
  • Develop key project documents including business case, executive summary, business requirements, process/usage flow, specifications, solution matrices, and wireframes - using diagrams, flowcharts, word documents, and other assets.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and perform functions for urgent, high-visibility, high-profile, and strategic projects to ensure accuracy and completeness, while meeting challenging deadlines.
  • Develop and contribute to enterprise process standards to continuously improve quality, while ensuring consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Identify, address, negotiate, record, report, manage, and escalate action items, risks, issues and change requests associated to projects and to the team.
  • Manage vendor relationships and activities; share documented details of support or modification needs, supervise the delivery of the work in an effective and timely manner, and coordinate with business areas to test and approve final delivery.
  • Contribute to review processes of architecture, design, and quality assurance work products to preemptively identify conflicts and ensure consistent implementation of business and functional requirements.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis of requirements defects, identify key and recurring problems, and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Create, validate, and execute test plans, perform functional and integration tests, develop testing scripts, and guide others in testing. Track issues and coordinate retesting ensuring accuracy, effectiveness, thoroughness, and consistency.
  • Offer users general support, through resolving support tickets, monitoring alert queues, and resolving identified issues.
  • Develop and deliver summarized findings of problems to management for proposed recommended actions.
  • Project management, as needed, including producing status reports, gathering/guiding/motivating teams, tracking work progress, and mitigating risks.
  • Develop and provide training on system functionality.
  • Collaborate, partner with, and support a multi-disciplinary global team consisting of data analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Work with business areas to determine and document detailed business needs.
  • Be a change agent, sharing the vision and encouraging others to embrace change.
About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology
  • 5+ years of direct, related experience
  • Experience working in a retail business, desired
  • Experience working in franchised businesses, desired
  • 2+ years of direct experience using data analytics tools, such as Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, Domo, QlikView, etc.
  • 2+ years of direct experience working with data development and report development teams
  • Proven SDLC experience with a focus on software testing best practices, test plan creation and execution, change control procedures, and testing software/tools
  • Demonstrated history of translating data into clear and actionable narratives and communicating opportunities and challenges relevant to stakeholders
  • Possess the ability to present analytical data and strategic ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Adaptable with a focus on "Discipline of Execution" to ensure quality of deliverables, adherence to standards, and continuous improvement of people, process, and tools
  • Sharp critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills with proven experience in resolving challenging situations
  • Especially detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with a strong ability to establish priorities and objectives
  • Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth
  • Exhibit comfort, ease, and flexibility multi-tasking in an extremely fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders - understanding and synthesizing needs, prioritizing work, seeking feedback, and communicating progress
