JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Specialist

REPORTS TO: Manager, Talent Acquisition

JOB SUMMARY:

BNED is seeking a skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to source, interview, and hire top talent across the entire organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with the business to align on hiring needs, understand job requirements, review/edit job descriptions, screen candidates, and extend offers. Serving as an ambassador for the BNED brand, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the primary point of contact for hiring managers, candidates, and external partners, providing a best-in-class experience for all parties involved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Perform full cycle recruiting for various levels of corporate positions
* Collaborate with hiring managers to understand each new job opening, partner with hiring team to write attractive job postings that are appealing to candidates
* Post positions to company career website and external job boards
* Educate hiring managers with market/industry trends to build credibility and trust
* Build strong working relationships with hiring managers
* Proactively source passive candidates using various tools and resources (LinkedIn Recruiter & Indeed)
* Serve as a super-user of company ATS and support the implementation of new system, iCIMS
* Screen resumes and interview candidates, building a pipeline of talent for the organization
* Compile interview feedback and make recommendations to hiring managers
* Extend job offers to candidates; liaison between business and HR throughout offer negotiation process
* Provide high level of customer service for internal and external partners and candidates
* Serve as point of contact for agency partners and external vendors; manage temporary hiring process and expenditures
* Compile and prepare recruiting activity reports on a regular weekly basis
* Serve as backup for talent acquisition team
* Additional responsibilities and/or projects as required

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

* 3-5 years of full cycle recruitment experience; in-house or agency
* Sound knowledge of talent acquisition techniques and best practices
* Experience recruiting for all levels and exempt/non-exempt roles
* Experienced with Applicant Tracking Systems; iCIMS preferred
* Highly proficient in MS Office Suite
* Proven success with sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed Resume Database
* Strong communication skills and business acumen; Comfort with communicating across all levels of the organization and externally
* Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
* Strong organization and follow-up skills
