JOB DESCRIPTION:

What does a Campus & Military Recruiter do?
The Campus and Military Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting current students, recent graduates and military-affiliated talent into summer internship and early career development programs, as well as full time job opportunities via target universities, community colleges, and military organizations. This role requires a highly energetic person who loves to establish relationships and is excited to hire recent grads, veterans, guard/reservist & military spouses as they start / transition into a new career. As a Campus & Military Recruiter, you will:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with universities and community colleges, military instillations, and veteran organizations; presenting as an employer of choice
  • Attend various events such as: career fairs, employer panels, resume reviews, and mock interviews.
  • Source veterans, guard/reservists, and military spouses for job opportunities through multiple sourcing channels.
  • Support assigned line of business through sourcing of university, community college, and military-affiliated talent to achieve hiring goals.
  • Leverage social media to engage with university talent and elevate the brand
  • Achieve sourcing and hiring goals in a metrics driven environment.
  • Evaluate talent/candidates for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Source, screen and interview for candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
  • Present candidates and guide/assist hiring managers in the staffing process.
  • Coordinate pre-employment travel, offer process, and new hire experience requirements.
  • Utilize staffing technology applications to drive staffing workflow, measure performance and report results.
  • Support broader talent acquisition and human resources team with special projects as needed (e.g. hiring events, high volume recruiting, etc.).
  • Will utilize Workday Applicant Tracking Systems, MS Office products (including Teams), and SharePoint

Basic qualifications for consideration:
  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related field
  • 5+ years sourcing or recruiting experience, full cycle recruitment a plus
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including those relating to OFCCP
  • Sourcing experience utilizing multiple approaches: multiple social media sites, search strings, networking
  • Travel required 25% or more
  • U.S. Veteran, Guard and Reservists, military spouses encouraged to apply

Preferred qualifications:
  • 3+ years Program Management experience
  • Knowledge of military culture including skills translation, rank structure and veteran to civilian transition a plus
