Position Responsibilities

  • Expertly manage the strategic plan for government sales management and growth.
  • Manage government business opportunity pipeline and track the status of proposal development with internal teams to ensure submittal deadlines are met.
  • Create and maintain proposal and contract documents relative to government procurement schedules, projects, and contracts.
  • Prepare RFP's and Bid responses for Federal, State, and local agency opportunities.
  • Lead the effort to develop bids and quotes along with any required supporting documentation.
  • Support the proposal development efforts for larger opportunities.
  • Oversee contract compliance.
  • Develop and maintain long term relationships with government acquisition personnel and buyers
  • Research lead identification, bid organization and management of the bid process and contract administration.
  • Map all prospective Federal, State, and local agencies for new business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with cross functioning teams to service Government accounts.



Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent large account sales development experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years' direct experience with US Government contracting.
  • Understanding of government contracting including account structures, procurement processes, RFPs, and bid requests.
  • Strong track record of successful new business development
  • Strong systems and analytical fluency
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Creative, flexible and strong sense of urgency and responsiveness required.
  • Strong work ethics and writing communication required.
  • Superior computer skills. Excel skills minimum intermediate, advance preferred.



The position is located on site in our Mount Olive, NJ Headquarters.
