Masonic Village at Burlington located in Burlington Township, NJ is currently hiring a Senior Human Resources Generalist!

What will I do?

  • Maintain human resource information system (HRIS) by entering changes with insurance benefits, status changes, terminations, and other related demographic information.
  • Maintain insurance files for billing, documentation, and reference purposes. Retain and update spreadsheet for newly benefit eligible Team Members, distribute benefit materials, and assist with the enrollments by updating HRIS, as well as insurance portals.
  • Administers leave paperwork, policies, and records for Team Members, along with the direct invoicing of benefit premiums and maintaining those records. Manage and track third party sick pay for periodic upload to the payroll system. Completion and submission of State Temporary Disability paperwork.
  • Conducts training seminars and workshops for staff relating to coaching, leadership, supervisor, customer service and worker's compensation as required.
  • Manage assigned functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, terminations, leave of absence, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, report writing, and turnover analysis.
  • Participate in investigations, employee relations and corrective action meetings with team members and preparing appropriate documentation.
  • Prepares various HR-related reports including new hires, termination and any requests by HR Director or other Department Heads.
  • As directed, provides coverage in the absence of the Director of Human Resources as needs arise.
  • Complete incident reporting and medical requests for Workman Compensation. Sending out light duty updates to Departments.

What do I need for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Work experience as a Human Resources Generalist required.
  • At least 5-7 years of work experience in a Human Resources Generalist role preferred.
  • Experience with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, terminations, investigations, and leave of absence required.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and knowledge including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher.
  • Strong skills in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferably UltiPro.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Must possess attention to detail, exercise sound judgment, ability to set priorities to meet deadlines, and organizational skills.
