Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner is a crucial leadership role. The position entails operating as a trusted consultant and expert for the leadership team, as well as giving support to field employees. This role will work with other HR leaders across the company to make sure the business is ready and prepared to support the talent needs as it evolves and grows. This includes supporting the business on the on-boarding, development, and deployment of talent to achieve certain strategic and operational objectives.

The HRBP will be accountable for building an aggressive HR/Talent agenda that aligns with the business strategy. This includes the capabilities to attract and enhance organizational performance; as well as develop, engage, and retain a high level of capability that can deliver consistent growth across the business. This role will be on-site throughout New York City.

Responsibilities:
Work with talent acquisition to build a strong talent pipeline

Create Organizational Development and Design initiatives

Participate in Talent Reviews and Succession Planning

Participate in Performance Evaluations including assessments, calibration, and compensation planning

Communicate and assist in areas of performance evaluations and training and development

Participate in new hire orientations and exit interviews

Ensure policies and processes to increase employee engagement

Build relationships and HR Peers and Partners

Handle employee relations issues in a timely manner

Work as an integrated HR partner to ensure consistency and alignment across HR organization

Facilitate good employee relations with the company's regional operations groups

Coach business leaders on employee relations matters; support the resolution of complex employee relations issues

Advise business leaders to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and city laws in relation to benefits, compensation, employment, and training

Monitor pay scales and ensure job position responsibilities align with compensation structure and market trends

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required

7+ years' experience in human resources department

3+ years' experience in HR leadership position

Strong understanding of interviewing process, benefits administration, payroll, and other HR functions

PHR/SPHR certification desired

Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills

Sit on-site in NYC
