Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls, NJandnbsp;is a Joint Commission Certified 60-bed physical rehabilitation hospital. We admit adults across a wide-array of diagnoses who are recovering from a recent and often significant medical event. We are certified in stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, Parkinsonandrsquo;s disease rehabilitation, hip fracture rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and pulmonary rehabilitation.

We are a hospital dedicated to acute physical rehab for patientandrsquo;s just days out of surgery or the IUC having suffered a major and often significant medical event. Our Doctors, nursing staff, pharmacists and therapists work with patients 7 days a week helping them not only recover, but overcome their injury and return home to their lives and families.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

andbull; Provide occupational therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state and federal regulations and professional guidelines.

andbull; Perform occupational therapy treatment tasks as delegated and supervised by occupational therapists.

andbull; Maintain open and ongoing communication with hospital departments to ensure that patient, staff and hospital needs are met.

Credentials:

andbull; Current state licensure or certification or state practice act, whichever is applicable, required.

andbull; CPR certification preferred, unless otherwise required by hospital policy.

andbull; Successful completion of an associateandrsquo;s degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program preferred.

andbull; Effective communication skills for working with patients, families and caregivers required.

andbull; Demonstrated competency in occupational treatment essential.
