**This is a full-time internship position and will be available starting June 2022**

As a Bilingual Customer Service Advocate - You'll assist as many as 50 - 70 per day from customers who have questions about their health benefits. As their advocate, you'll use your personality and our tools to help them navigate through the health care benefits available to them.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage the front desk at the retail sites to greet walk-in customers, handle registrations, and direct walk-in traffic
• Support customer service-related tasks such as letter translations
• Coordinate community events/projects/programs with the marketing and retail teams
• Collaborate with the community outreach team to build relationships with Asian communities and promote our retail sites
• Manage daily data and prepare reports for our retail site/sales (Reports include daily walk-in volume reports, such as how many walk-in customers for either services or sales enrollments in different line of business.)

Required Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese (speak, read, and write)
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role. UnitedHealth Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of vaccination prior to employment to ensure compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• Minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA
