Job description

A Family Support Worker offers screenings to potential clients via phone with a subsequent assessment conducted in the home.# The ongoing visits focus on establishing a trusting relationship, assisting parents in improving their skills, providing support, strengthening the parent-child relationship, and linking families to community resources.# Core and ongoing training sessions specific to working with families is provided. # CONNECTING TO MISSION: # Holy Redeemer Home Care and Hospice#s ability to continue the rich heritage of the Sisters of the Holy Redeemer#and care, comfort, and heal in the home is directly related to the talents, motivation and accomplishments of our employees.# A primary way staff connect to our mission is by collaborating with all team members in promoting an environment that provides quality, compassionate, holistic, patient-centered care and supports all internal and external customers # RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: # High School Education or its equivalent. Child care experience required. Possesses current driver#s license and has access to a car. Ability to work some limited flexible hours. Must be available for training and meetings as needed.
