Job Summary
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for ensuring all transactions are posted and booked properly. As well as ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare commission, sales tax, prepaid insurance schedules.
- Perform lien process by updating customers projects in Level set's cloud-based platform.
- Monitor and confirm corporate-wide financial conditions by conducting audit; providing information to external auditors; coordinate all audit activity.
- Monitor financial inventory controls. Assist operations during cycle count exercises and provide transparency on types of write-off transactions at the site.
- Filling sales tax monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.
- Prepare Biweekly and monthly BBC report to submit to bank for borrowing base., prepare Libor report.
- Liaise with the bank for the line of credit requirements and bank audit.
- Prepare and file 1099 to IRS for all eligible vendors and employees.
- Design monthly MIP (Management information Pack) and other "internal" financial reports requested by top management and implement budgeting system.
- Work with external CPA firm to facilitate preparation and filing of the annual corporate financial statements and tax returns.
- Manage staff in a broad range of accounting functions; responsible for creating and monitoring all finance initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
5-10 years of experience in similar role.
Accounting degree is a must. CPA preferred.
Accounting Data Analytics
3 years recent public accounting firm experience is required
Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet processing deadlines
Strong Analytical skills
