Lab Technician- Hillsborough, NJ 08844
Temporary to Hire
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Core skills:
+ Perform routine testing making polymer solutions/lab polymers
+ Must have GDP experience (Good Documentation Practice)
+ Lab experience, DSC, viscosity
+ Accmet preferred but not required; mechanical understanding
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, biochemistry or engineering with further education or experience being advantageous. Experience in polymer synthesis and laboratory work.
+ Proficiency with computers and scientific equipment.
+ Good presentation, documentation, and reporting skills.
+ Strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
+ Polymer synthesis and characterization under supervision.
+ Preparing test solutions, compounds, and reagents for conducting tests and advising and coordinating test procedures. Writing reports, and preparing standards and specifications for processes, tests, and products.
+ Maintaining laboratory instruments, troubleshooting malfunctions, and purchasing new laboratory supplies. Evaluating and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standards (ISO 9001: 2015).
