RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Business Analyst. Summary: The Possession or Control team in Securities Operations is responsible for establishing and overseeing controls that monitor the stock record, the Depository Trust Company (DTC) memo segregation, the international segregation program and the root cause of segregation deficit creation and remediation. The team works closely with front office, client facing, middle and back office operations and regulatory control teams to ensure appropriate actions are taken as prescribed by rule 15C3-3. Additionally, the team is responsible for reviewing and resolving issues related to regulatory inquiries. In this role, the Business Analyst will gain valuable experiences with various investment banking products and services that have global risk exposure. • The Business Analyst will analyze the stock record to determine if customer assets are segregated appropriately
• Perform root cause analysis on segregation deficits, exceptions and other regulatory related issues
• Identify and develop process improvements and new controls to promote efficiency and improve accuracy
• Interface directly with Senior Management through escalation reporting and root cause fol
• Business Analyst performs and coordinates the analysis and design of business systems
• Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of the needs of the assigned customer group from the business and technical perspective
• Works closely with clients and with other system groups to capture business requirements and see them through implementation
• Develops and executes systems testing
• The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups
